Laus Auto Services center now open in Clark

CLARK FREEPORT — One of the biggest auto services centers in Central Luzon is now operating inside this Freeport.

Laus Auto Services (LAS), a multi-brand car dealer firm based in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga committed to invest P243 million for the establishment of dealership and showcase for various automotive brands in Clark, including its Laus Auto Services center.

The LAS also provides motorists quality maintenance and repair services, general jobs, body paint and collision repair. It is the only car-care firm in the country to offer water-based body paint jobs.

Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President Noel Manankil congratulated Chairman Levy Laus of the Laus Group of Companies for locating in Clark and making the Freeport an integral part of the company.

Laus, who is also former CDC president during the Arroyo administration, signed an agreement with CDC for the lease of 1.9 hectare property in Clark in 2015. “The inauguration of the LAS, in this robust environment, speaks of the great value and confidence we place in the future of Clark,”

Laus said. “It is also our way of saying we want to provide quality auto services for the whole community.” Also present during the inauguration was Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade, who expressed his belief on the development of Pampanga, especially in the growth of the Freeport.

Joining Tugade and Manankil during the inauguration are Laus’ wife Maria Theresa Laus, Clark Investors and Locators Association President Joselito Go, Clark Development Corporation chairman Jose De Jesus, Refinish coatings Asia and HK Automotive refinish Vice President Pauline Yuen, and LAS business manager Donald Calma.

Bases Conversion and Development Authority President and cheif executive officer Vince Dizon, Clark International Airport OIC Alexander Cauguiran and other officers of the LGC and CDC also graced the occasion.

Established in 1978, LGC is a network of companies dealing predominantly in the automotive business industry in Central and North Luzon, and other parts of Metro Manila.

The LGC represents 11 car brands and its pre-own used car business, aside from being a major ancillary businesses in nano-ceramic films, motor oil, and mag-wheels distribution, auto enhancement, tires, non-life insurance, real estate, financing, tri-media, food services, petrol service station.

The company employs 1,500 workers in its 65 business ventures in the country.
